Welcome to the Hayle Community Action Group! We’re on a mission to transform our community, and we need passionate, dedicated individuals like you to join us. Whether you’re looking to become a new member or step up as a trustee, your involvement can make a real difference.
As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to:

- Get Involved Regularly: Participate in ongoing projects and events that improve our community.

- Lend Your Practical Skills: From planting and building to carpentry, painting, landscaping, and more – your hands-on skills are invaluable.

- Make an Impact: Contribute to meaningful projects that enhance our community spaces and quality of life.

- Vote on Decisions: Have your say and vote on important decisions about town projects.
Membership costs just £10 per year. We are finalising the membership process, and you will be able to join soon. In the meantime, sign up to our database to be the first to hear about how to join.
Step Up as a Trustee
We are also seeking trustees to help lead and guide our organisation. As a trustee, you will:

- Shape Our Strategy: Work with fellow trustees and members to set and maintain our vision and goals.

- Ensure Compliance: Help us navigate legal requirements and uphold our governing principles.

- Manage Resources: Oversee our financial health and ensure responsible use of our funds.

- Promote Our Cause: Act as an ambassador for our work, fostering relationships with stakeholders and the community.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, and we’re particularly keen to ensure our board reflects the diversity of our community. Prior experience as a trustee is not necessary – if you have skills in areas like governance, leadership, finance, community projects, or practical trades, we’d love to hear from you.
